Christian faith for the whole of life.
Grace Church is a community of Christians in Shirley seeking to live out our faith in everyday life. We believe church is fundamentally about people rather than a building, and we want our life together to be characterised by truth, genuine relationships and a desire to share the good news of Jesus.
Finding something true
We believe truth matters. The Bible has a central place in our church because we believe it helps us understand who God is, who we are and how God calls us to live. We want our faith to be rooted in Scripture rather than simply in tradition, habit or opinion.
Building good relationships
Following Jesus was never intended to be a solitary experience. Jesus taught that the greatest commands are to love God and to love others, so we want Grace Church to be a place where people can form genuine relationships, encourage one another, listen, pray and walk through life together.
Knowing God personally
Christianity begins with God reaching out to us. We believe that through Jesus Christ we can receive forgiveness and enter into a personal relationship with God. We study the Bible not simply to gain information, but to know God better and learn how to live in response to Him.
